Fatal Collision in Morgan County – A tragic accident in Morgan County, Kentucky, has resulted in the death of 31-year-old Montana Price from West Liberty. The Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead received a call for assistance from West Liberty dispatch around 2:13 p.m. regarding a fatal collision on KY 519 near the intersection of Hot Mix Road. Upon arriving at the scene, troopers learned that Price was driving a black passenger car northbound on KY 519 when she crossed over the centerline into the southbound lane.

Unfortunately, her vehicle collided with a yellow box truck. Despite the immediate response from emergency services, Montana Price was pronounced dead at the scene by Morgan County Coroner Shawn Vancleave. The box truck was operated by Braden Evans, a 29-year-old from Grayson, Kentucky. He was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the truck, Zachary Martin, 36, also from Grayson, was taken by ambulance to St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead for his injuries. Fortunately, his condition was not life-threatening either.
