Christopher Elk Death, Obituary – Brick Township, New Jersey resident Christopher Elk, 46 years old, was killed in a horrific motorbike accident that occurred on Route 72. Elk was a resident of Brick Township. According to the New Jersey State Police, the collision took place on October 3 at approximately 6:12 p.m. today.
During the time that Elk was riding his Suzuki motorcycle in the direction of westbound traffic on Route 72, his motorcycle went off the road near milepost 9.5 for reasons that have not yet been determined. A significant impact was caused when the motorbike collided with a tree. Consequently, Elk was ejected from the motorbike and sustained injuries that ultimately proved to be deadly, as reported by Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron. Despite the arrival of emergency personnel at the scene, Christopher Elk was tragically pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
