Gotwall was discovered by a passerby who saw him trapped under his motorcycle in a roadside ditch. The passerby immediately alerted emergency services, prompting a swift response from the local authorities. Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, along with personnel from the Fairville Fire Department, were on the scene by approximately 3:25 p.m.
